The Book

The book was launched at the Volunteer Hall in Mill St. on 6th September, 2014, only a few days after the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Pals. Over 600 copies of the book were given away at the event which was attended by Dame Lorna Muirhead, the Lord-Lieutenant of Merseyside.

Since then the remainder of the 2,000 copies that were printed have been given away. The final ones were distributed on 9th November, 2014, at the Ceremony of Remembrance.

Unfortunately we have no more.
